Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Delhi

Upon your arrival at Delhi Airport, your guide will be waiting to greet you. If your flight lands early, you have the option to visit Gurudwara Bangla Sahib Sik temple, a significant Sikh gurdwara with a rich history. It was originally the Haveli (mansion) of Guru Har Krishan, the eighth Sikh Guru, and was later transformed into a gurdwara in his memory. This temple attracts around a thousand visitors daily. After your visit, you'll be transferred to your hotel in Delhi, where you can unwind and prepare for the exciting days ahead. Your overnight stay will be in Delhi.

Day 2: Sightseeing in Delhi and Drive to Agra

Your second day begins with a fascinating exploration of Old Delhi. You'll immerse yourself in the rich history of this part of the city, wandering through its narrow streets and vibrant bazaars. A highlight of the morning is a visit to Jama Masjid, one of India's largest mosques, constructed in 1656 by Shah Jahan, the same ruler behind the Taj Mahal and the Red Fort. Following this, you'll experience the bustling energy of Chandni Chowk, Old Delhi's renowned market, where you can shop for a variety of goods, from saris to silver jewelry. Your tour culminates at Raj Ghat, a serene memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi. Later in the day, you'll embark on a scenic drive to Agra, a journey that takes approximately 4 to 5 hours. Upon your arrival in Agra, you'll check in to your hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening.

Day 3: Sightseeing in Agra and Drive to Jaipur

Day three kicks off early with a visit to one of the world's most iconic monuments—the Taj Mahal. This magnificent white marble mausoleum was constructed by Emperor Shah Jahan in loving memory of his wife, Mumtaz Mahal, and stands as a testament to their enduring love. Following your visit, you'll return to your hotel for a delicious breakfast. Your next stop is Agra Fort, an impressive Mughal citadel built in the mid-16th century. Inside its walls, you'll explore marble palaces, mosques, and exquisite gardens. From the fort's vantage point, you'll be treated to breathtaking panoramic views of the Yamuna River and the Taj Mahal across the river. In the early afternoon, you'll embark on a drive to Jaipur, which takes approximately 5 hours. Upon reaching Jaipur, you'll check in to your hotel and have the evening free to relax and unwind.

Day 4: Jaipur

Your fourth day in India's Golden Triangle begins with a visit to the stunning Amber Fort, located approximately 7 miles (11 km) outside of Jaipur. This hilltop fort, with its impressive architecture and history, will leave you captivated. You'll spend several hours exploring its palaces, ramparts, and intricate details. Returning to Jaipur, you'll then proceed to the City Palace, a magnificent structure that perfectly blends Rajasthani and Mughal architectural styles. Nearby, you'll visit Jantar Mantar, often referred to as the Solar Observatory, which houses an impressive collection of nineteen architectural astronomical instruments. As the day winds down, you'll have the unique opportunity to delve into India's culinary culture with a hands-on cooking lesson and demonstration. Hosted in a welcoming family home, this experience will teach you the art of cooking Indian cuisine and using traditional spices. The class typically lasts for approximately two to three hours, allowing you to savor your culinary creations. Finally, you'll return to your Jaipur hotel for a restful night.

Day 5: Return to Delhi and Departure

On your final morning, you'll embark on a scenic drive back to Delhi, a journey that takes around 5 hours. After arriving in Delhi, you'll be transferred to the airport in time for your onward or departure flight, bringing this memorable 5-day Golden Triangle tour to a close. Safe travels!
